About
Hello and welcome to my blog. I’ve set this up to share my thoughts about the world. I’m mainly interested in bleeding edge technology, knowledge sharing and global politics.
Some data about me:
I was born with the name Stefan Michael Rothenbühler on December, 4th 1983. After school i did my apprenticeship as Informatiker in V-ZUG AG which is a great supplier for kitchen and laundry machines. I specialized mainly on maintaining AIX-based UNIX Systems. After 4 years of apprenticeship and one year of internship I decided to study computer sciences at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. After 2 years of full time studying, I’ve been offered a job there as assistant for the Enterprise Lab, which is a lab for Solaris and other SUN-based technologies. I also worked for SUN during the next 2 years as Sun Campus Ambassador. After finishing my bachelor degree in computer sciences (specialization on Software Systems), I looked for a job and found one within the biggest Swiss ISP (Swisscom Switzerland Ltd.). Now I’m working there in the messaging team. My main working fields are Solaris System Administration and Messaging. During spare time I like to meet friends, go for bowling and taking pictures with my Canon D550.
